FAQs

  • Dogs with long, thick fur may need to be groomed every 4-6 weeks, while dogs with short or fine hair may only need to go every 8-12 weeks. It's important to keep up with your dog's grooming program as if left too long, their hair may become matted and cause irritation or infection and need to be shaven.

  • They typical stay at the spa for 2 to 3 hours. It may be a little longer for long haired or larger breeds with heavier under coats, and for pet’s receiving hand scissoring. We do our best to get your dog groomed and back to you in a timely manner.

  • We welcome new puppies to our shop as young as 8 weeks old. Introducing your dog to grooming early is key. During your puppy's initial visit, we keep it brief and basic, typically including a bath, blow-dry, nail trimming, and a gentle touch-up around the face, paws and sanitary. It's important to proceed slowly and gently to prevent the puppy from feeling stressed and to ensure a positive grooming experience from the start.

  • Since it can be quite painful, we will make every effort to preserve most of the coat and apply a deep conditioner to help untangle the hair. If the dog's hair is severely matted, it indicates damage and cannot be brushed out to achieve a healthy appearance or texture. However, if there are only a few mats, we will do our best to remove them and proceed with the grooming process.
